Award-winning columnist has new book!

05/29/15 -- Bears, Beer, Trout Tacos, Etc.Short Outdoor Tales & Other Quasi-Kindred Illuminations compiles columns and stories into one entertaining, hilarious volume of one man’s observations about adventures in the great outdoors. The book consists primarily of
Bears, Beer, Trout Tacos, Etc, book by Don E. Webster
Don Webster’s columns from over the past few years. Don says, “I owe a deep, debt of gratitude to Frank Galusha, editor-in-chief at Frank’s generous support and editorial assistance have been invaluable.”

« The book’s cover art and interior illustrations were created by his young granddaughter, Isabella Langaman. “Belle’s blossoming talent continues to amaze me,” Don states proudly.

Clocking in at roughly one thousand words each, the short stories and anecdotal accounts in this collection recall the humor and wisdom of such sportsmen as Patrick McManus and Robert Ruark.

Broken into seven different sections, this book tackles all manner of topics (humorous and serious) pertaining to the outdoor experience. Webster covers a wide gamut -- stories about fishing and hunting, unique observations on adventures in the outdoors, and ruminations on selected individuals who have made major contributions to the outdoor world. He even incorporates poetry.

Easy to read and wildly entertaining for sportsmen and women of all ilk, Bears, Beer, Trout Tacos, Etc. is the next best thing to hitting the trails or casting reels in a cool, deep stream yourself.
